From development to CAM we are working with one CAD program (Pro Engineer). Of course we can read in and edit any common data type. The construction and mould making departments work closely together. Filling studies (mould flow calculation), FMEA and the exchange of experiences with technicians of the injection moulding department make sure that the knowledge of everyone who is included in the process is contributed. If prototype moulds were built, the resulting experiences are implemented in the process as well.

The entire construction gets done in 3D. All CNC machines are linked to the construction and the CAM department. Through operating the machines without drawings, transmission errors can't occur. The construction parameters are overtaken directly from CAD data. The data is stored on a central server. The machinists can match them with the current status of the work piece at any time.
