Varnishing

As a proficient manufacturer of moulded components, we varnish them aswell. However required, we use single and multicomponent paint with different solvent concentration.

Usually we use rotating spindle systems for coating the parts. The parts are mounted on jigs, which are rotating and guiding the components through the spraying jet. The jigs are also carrying the parts during pre and post processes, which is why we put a lot of emphasis on a suitable design of them in our jig construction.

Towards the precleaning, which is applied on each component, a second pre treatment with low pressure plasma can follow if necessary. The parts are placed in a vacuum chamber. A voltage is applied which creates ionised process gas. Certain plastics such as PP are only paintable after that process, which increases the surface tension and thus the paintability.

Applied on other materials it enhances the process liability to achieve higher reproducibility and optically more appealing finishes.

The process occurs under strictly constant conditions regarding mixture and consistency of the lacquer, flow conditions and environmental conditions.

We strictly stick to the drying times and temperatures. They have a great influence on the characteristics of the lacquer or multi layered lacquer systems.

Whether you require a matt, high gloss, uni-, metallic, soft touch or scratch resistant surface – We would be pleased to find a solution for you.
